- Gordon Molnar, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., President and Asset Management Specialist
Gordon
has over 36 years experience in developing, implementing, and managing
asset management processes and technology. Gordon is a seasoned
workshop facilitator and has been recognized for his balanced approach
as a technical expert and trained mediator, which is very effective in
facilitating workshops involving diverse interests.
Gordon
was a member of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM)
Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP) Technical Working Group. He
also led the recent and successful delivery of over twenty-five FCM MAMP
projects. Most of these projects included compiling the inventory
(TCA and GIS), assembling the data in an Asset Management Database,
completing the condition assessment for all asset classes, performing
the lifecycle analysis to determine the infrastructure sustainability
level, and compiling the details of capital renewal budget programming.
Gordon also led the development of major asset management initiatives, including the "Alberta State of the Infrastructure Report".
Gordon
is recognized by the national and international research and scientific
community in this area of practice. Gordon is a dual certified
professional civil engineer and software systems engineer. He has
developed numerous asset management systems and programs.
Historically,
Gordon was on the asset management systems development team for the
Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, where he also
managed a comprehensive asset management program. Gordon is also a
former senior and executive manager in municipal government.
His areas of responsibility were public works, utilities,
solid waste, regional airport, and fleet management. Gordon
understands the inner functions of municipal government and direct
application of asset management as an internal City employee.
- Jeannie Paterson, P.Eng. Asset Management Engineer and GIS Specialist
Jeannie
has over 29 years of engineering experience in a wide range of
infrastructure groups, including hydrogeological investigation and
installation of high capacity industrial and municipal water supply,
transportation corridor route selection and design for road and rail,
and engineering works related to solid waste landfills. She is a
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expert in application to asset
management works and is certified in the NASSCO, Pipeline, Manhole and
Lateral Line Assessment Certification Programs (PACP, MACP, LACP).
Jeannie’s
current applied practice includes setting up asset management
inventories, including database and GIS. She also assists in the
organization and facilitation of asset management workshops for
development of asset management organizational and system frameworks and
implementation planning.
Jeannie has
conducted on-site condition assessments for a variety of asset groups,
including roads, sidewalks, culverts, facilities, water distribution,
and wastewater collection.
